Tonight, injustice dons its haunting robe,
Descending with twilight's along the city roads,
Beneath the cloak of smoke, lost souls stray,
In the silences of darkness, death, and dismay.
Untold stories, life’s demise,
I lose the power to fight the tide.
Another battle awaits; in the shadows, it looms,
It brings misery into every room,
Where children once played, Injustice reigns,
It takes its throne atop the rubble of my home.
Yet, amid its oppressive plight,
A glimmer of resilience, a flickering light.
For within the ruins, seeds of hope are sown,
A whispered resistance, a strength unknown.
