Moonlight

The moonlight tugs at my curtain
Begging me to come in
Like a thief in the night
He crawls into my bed
His glint fills my room with light
Draws hills and mountains over my curves
He shakes the darkness into deeper burns of black, I wane under his weight
The moon sent his light to me tonight right before it was too late
